1. Social Studies Teacher

NDIHS, an American high school in Verneuil-sur-Seine, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time social sciences teacher to join our growing team. We offer a unique opportunity to teach in an American curriculum while fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment for our international student body.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US History, AP Human Geography, and World History, and a passion for helping students develop critical thinking, research, and communication skills.


  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet US curriculum standards and promote a love of learning for social sciences.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and growth, celebrating the diversity of our international student body.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Integrate technology effectively into the classroom experience.
  • Assess student learning progress and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive social sciences curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.


  • Possession of a relevant state teaching license (US or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of US History, AP Human Geography, and World History.
  • Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience at the secondary level preferred.
  • Experience with developing and implementing curriculum aligned with US standards.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for an international student body.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction.

2. Weekend Dorm Supervisor Position School Year 2024/2025
Nacel regularly recruits weekend supervisors to manage the dormitory during the weekends.
Part-time position from Friday evenings to Sunday evenings.
Oral English skills are mandatory. Interest and ability to interact with a group of international students aged 15-18.
